Refund and Returns Policy

This returns policy is applicable to all purchases made online at www.chemistore.co.nz

To return an item, please contact contact@chemistore.co.nz Please ensure that you include your order number as well as any additional information.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Consumer Guarantees

Under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (‘CGA’) you have legal rights for the goods you buy. These legal rights are referred to as your ‘consumer guarantees’ and include the below:

  1. The goods are of acceptable quality.
  2. The goods purchased are fit for the purpose of which they were supplied.
  3. The goods match the description with which they are supplied.

In addition to your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (‘CGA’), Chemistore also offers a 7-day change of mind return or exchange on selected products.

Change of mind returns:

We offer a 7-day change of mind return or exchange for some products provided that:

  • Goods are returned or exchanged within 7 days from the purchase date(exclusions apply). After this date you may not be entitled to an exchange or refund.
  • You must have your original receipt or invoice.
  • Goods are unopened in their original packaging.
  • Goods are not used or damaged in any way.
  • The goods are not part of the exclusions for change of mind returns (see below).

Product EXCLUSIONS for change of mind returns include but are not limited to: 

  • Baby Formula
  • Beauty / Skin Care Products
  • Clearance or short-dated stock products.

Shipping returns:

To return your product, you should mail your product to: {physical address}.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
